Hand Polished
Polishing caps by hand is very time consuming, as the lift tab and main top casting are not usually on the same plane. To ensure an even polish we first disassemble the cap and then polish the two parts separately. We start the polish process with 180 grit sand paper and work it gradually down to a 400 grit paper. The process is completed with a careful buffing to ensure that the grain is consistent.
Cost for hand polishing is an additional cost of $55.00 per cap.
